In Issue 53 of Tasmania 40 Degrees South magazine, Mark Smith's Winter Selections include: 2008 Bellingham Estate Hand-picked Riesling "Tasmanias' cool-climate rieslings are capable of offering the astute consumer a double delight: young wines with vibrant fruit and fresh acidity drink well in their youth but can age gracefully over many years. Mature examples offer additional richness and complexity of flavour. Bellingham Estates' current release fits the former very well indeed. The property also boasts a proud history of producing rieslings for the long haul.

The first release of the Kreglinger Vintage Brut Rose is from the 2003 vintage and the debut of this wine marks the end of many years of hard work and patience. As with all the wines in the Kreglinger sparkling family, the 2003 Kreglinger Vintage Brut Rose is made from 100% Tasmanian fruit, grown on our estate vineyards in the Pipers Brook region of northern Tasmania. Made from 100% pinot noir this is an intensely perfumed and expressive rose which shows all the classic hallmarks of the cool maritime region where the fruit is grown. The palate is rich and awash with berry fruits, wild strawberries and subtle hints of rhubarb, leading to a fine and balanced mineral structure which lifts and cleanses in the finish. An extended period of bottle ageing has provided flavour, harmony and complexities that are synonymous with Kreglinger. "
